    I hope to learn some technology skills that I do not already have. While I am not an Education major, I did aspire to be a teacher as a kid so I thought this class would be perfect for if I switched my major. Out of all the subjects I would teach, I would want to teach something in the technology field. Something like web design, coding, or graphic design would be a great fit for me

    I have had plenty of courses in the technology field that have given me experience in important skills. I once got a Microsoft Word and Microsoft PowerPoint certification in middle school. In high school, I got certified in Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator. I have had a few classes where we worked with Canva to create a poster or some sort too.

    I am personally working on my knowledge of coding, coding in C# specifically. I have loved playing video my whole life and always wanted to try making them myself. I recently made a Unity account and have been having fun playing with the tools to see what I can make. ChatGPT is an amazing tool to help code, I still struggle with how to code what I want the game to have, but ChatGPT converts my creativity into blocks of code.

    Hi Philip! Very cool you took this class because of that reason. Also, so interesting you would want to teach something in the technology field. What a great class this is for you then. Philip, I have some of the same certifications! That's awesome. In high school, I got certified in Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Photoshop. So cool you know how to code. I hope this class fulfills everything you want it too!

  Copyright and Fair Use Since I am planning on becoming a teacher for elementary students, I don't think they should stress out about copyright at that age yet. As a teacher, I would try to find worksheets that were available online, of course I would pay for them if I needed to. I have used Microsoft Word since my 8th grade elective class where we got experience using Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Excel. Similar to how the user interface on Apple products are easier to work with than Android products, I think Google Docs is more intuitive. While Microsoft Word has more tools, the amount of things on one screen can make it hard to deal with. Google Docs is more simplified, I like how it looks and it is easier to find previously made documents. When teachers forced me to use Microsoft Word to upload, I would always type it all in Google Docs and then copy it into a word document. The 2.5 Designer standard is most meaningful to me. Students have different difficulties when it comes to learning and some might need more accommodation than others. Teacher Pages You will usually see the teacher's email so that parents and students can easily reach the teacher. Some teachers give out their number on the page in case of emergencies or if they are extra friendly and don't mind calling outside of school. You might see the teacher's experience, their degrees and how long they have been teaching. It will also show what classes that teacher teaches and the grade that they teach. https://faculty.fsu.edu/ Canvas Group Tool I think the canvas group tool is the hardest part of canvas to understand. It is in different places on mobile vs your computer. It doesn't show if you have new notifications on it from people in your group talking, and no one checks it when we are trying to discuss. Every time a teacher puts us in canvas groups, we always give each other our phone numbers since it is easier to interact through texting.
